STAINER John E 74 of Cowes, passed away August 15th. Survived by daughter Nicola, sisters Carole Palmer and Brenda Cottell, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His passions included yacht racing, boat building, animals, nature and history. Proud Island Sailing Club member 50 years. John was loyal, funny and compassionate. He'll be greatly missed by his family and friends.
