JONES Eileen Rose (née Salter) Late of Godshill Passed peacefully away on the 9th January 2021 in Solent Grange Nursing Home. Beloved Wife of Evelyn. Sister of Winifred, Auntie to Lorna and Billy, Charlotte and Richard, Ellen and David. Great Aunt to nine nieces and nephews. Great Great Aunt to seven little children. Cousin to Diane Andrews and Rosemary Brooks. Born at Moorhills Farm Whitwell in 1929. Farmed at Lavender Farm with Evelyn. Later at Delphi Cliff Hotel Shanklin. Retired to Godshill where she attended All Saints Church and was a member of the Godshill Women's Institute and the Village Hall Committee. Eileen was nursed and cared for at Solent Grange Nursing Home. The family would like to thank the staff for their care and kindness to Eileen during her time with them, also thanks to her friends and neighbours in Godshill who helped her and were kind when she lived there.
