WARD Ken Diana would like to thank the many friends, neighbours and former work colleagues of herself and Ken, also representatives from groups and associations and especially the many police colleagues who attended Ken's funeral service on 11th October. Also thanks to the Royal British Legion (Shanklin) and Hampshire Police for their representation on the day at the service. Ken would have been proud of you. Thanks also to Sandown Nursing Home for the care and kindness Ken received over the past year. Diana has been overwhelmed by the many messages, cards and flowers she has received and thanks you all for your sympathy and kindness. A special thank you to the Reverend Tony Richards who conducted the service. Also the Funeral Directors William Hall for the efficient organisation of the funeral and service. The gathering afterwards at the Breeze, Island Harbour was a great venue with excellent food and good service.
