Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -The Isle of Wight Council (East Street, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0700 hours from Monday 10 January 2022 until 1830 hours on Wednesday 19 January 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along East Street for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0830 hours from Monday 10 January 2022 until 1700 hours on Friday 14 January 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Esplanade between its junctions with Car Park La Falaise and Alma Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during ground investigation works adjacent to the retaining wall at the back of the Spyglass Inn.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 07 January 2022 and Friday 18 February 2022 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately 21 days, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:
