Notice Is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council In not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Dennett Road, Bembrldge, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 30 May 2022 until 1800 hours on Friday 10 June 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Dennett Road, for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Farriers Way, Shorwell, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2022

The Isle of Wight Council (Gatcombe Village Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2022
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for periods between 0900 hours and 1800 hours, for one eight-hour period, from Thursday 02 June and Sunday 05 June 2022, or when the event is finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Gatcombe Village Road, Newport, on Thursday 02 June 2022, between its junctions with Doctors Lane and Gatcombe Footpath 25. This order is required in the interests of road safety during street parties being held in celebration of the Queens Platinum Jubilee. Alternative routes will be signposted locally. a) Laceys Lane, from its junction with Newport Road t its junction with Rectory, in a southerly direction;
b) Rectory Road, from its junction with Laceys Lane to its junction with Newport Road, in a westerly direction;
c) Newport Road, from its junction with Rectory Road to its junction with Laceys Lane, in a northerly direction.

The Isle of Wight Council (Laceys Lane, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting At Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0700 hours on Tuesday 24 May 2022 until 1800 hours on Tuesday 7 June 2022, or when the works has been completed, a 'No Waiting at Any Time' parking restriction will be introduced along Laceys Lane, on both sides, for its entire length. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 20 May 2022 and Friday 1 July 2022 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately 5-10 days, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:
