HOBBS Beryl It's with the deepest sadness we share the news of the passing of our beloved Mum, Nan and matriarch Mrs Beryl Hobbs and founder of Hellerslea Fabrics has sadly passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 14th July 2024 aged 89 years. Starting Hellerslea 1968 inspired by her love of sewing, she set up a sewing business in her front room, and continued to run and grow the business up until her retirement. Beryl's determination and hard work developed Hellerslea into one of the longest standing independent shops on the Isle of Wight. Which we are all very grateful and proud of. Rest in peace Nan/Mum definitely boss. Barry, Linda, Carol, Ash and Laurie. Service at the Crematorium on Thursday 1st August at 3.00pm. Family flowers only, a donation if desired to the Mountbatten Hospice c/o Geoff Leather Funeral Directors, Newport or online via www.geoffleather.co.uk
