A 42-year-old man from Newport has been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing.
POLICE have this morning (Monday) raided a Newport property and arrested a man on suspicion of drug dealing.
Isle of Wight Police attended an address at Lavender Way, Newport, at 8am.
A spokesperson said: "A 42-year-old man from Newport has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
"The arrest followed the execution of a warrant at a property in Lavender Way, Newport, this morning.
"The man currently remains in custody."
