The Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team was called to the scene.
AN INFLATABLE dinghy caused concern when it was spotted floating far out to sea.
Solent Coastguard tasked Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team to the scene, off Bonchurch, at around 3.42pm this afternoon.
There were two people on board the dinghy and they managed to get themselves ashore with no assistance.
Solent Coastguard said they were given safety advice ashore.
