CELEBRATING its 20th anniversary, this year's Wolverton Manor Garden Fair is gearing up to be a memorable weekend.

Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, the traditional garden fair will be packed full of fun and entertainment for all the family.

Browse the huge variety of specialist Island and mainland garden nursery stalls, displaying a diverse and inspiring range of plants, flowers and gardenalia.

Added to this, there are more than 100 arts and craft stalls, and a wide range of refreshments.

There is plenty of entertainment, with Elizabethan re-enactors bringing dancing, cooking and crafts from the past back to life.

There will be dog shows, wildlife and conservation experts, alpacas and donkeys, poultry exhibits, wood carving, traditional wool spinning, archery, falconry displays, tree climbing, vintage and military vehicles, vintage fairground amusements, magic shows, live music and more.

A popular highlight is always the chance to kayak on the moat.

Last year, the fair raised £22,000 for Age UK IW, plus £800 each to Island charities the IW Foodbank, Cowes Sea Scouts, Wight Brainy Bunch, Care in the Garden and the Salvation Army.

They had 6,000 visitors through the gates.
