JENNIFER Ruth Broadhead and Ben Whittington were married in an outdoor ceremony on one of the hottest days of the year.

The bride, a primary school teacher, is the daughter of Miriam and Richard Broadhead, of Shanklin.

The bridegroom, a management accountant, is the son of Mandy Whittington, of Ryde.

The bride wore a simple white dress with sweetheart neckline, a custom silver belt and lace over the shoulders.

She was attended by Helen Broadhead and Hayley Broadhead (bride's sisters), Stacey Conroy, Lois Cascarini and Mari-Louise White, who all wore matching full-length blush-pink dresses with sequined detail.

The best man was Mark Lovell, with Josh Power (bridegroom's nephew) and Jack Power (bridegroom's nephew) as ushers. The bride was given away by her father.

The wedding was held in an outdoor ceremony at Landguard Manor in Shanklin, with temperatures soaring above 37 degrees.

The couple, who live in Winchester, honeymooned on Antigua.
