Celebrate Diwali at Robin Hill's award-winning Festival of Light this autumn.

Voted the best event in the UK by Day Out With The Kids, the event is open from 6pm to 10pm on selected dates between September 27 and November 2.

It is the last year Robin Hill will hold the vibrant Diwali-themed event.

Marvel at the electro-light circus, which is returning more intense than before to bring the event to a spectacular close. The show features mind-boggling light tricks, acrobatics and circus skills.

New for 2019 is the Spice Cinema, a five-minute documentary surrounding the spice trade, accompanied by a sensory journey where customers will be surrounded by the smells of spice.

Discover the Chakra Star, hidden at the centre of the event, and marvel at the wonder of the seven chakras.

Uncover the fun and thrills of the family-favourite Holi powder arena and the new Neon Jungle, as well as the calm celestial Woodland Ponds water projections and stunning illuminations.

Samarkand was known as the golden city as it was one of the richest cities along the silk road.

This will be recreated, allowing visitors to experience the hustle and bustle of the great ancient city through interpretive lighting and sounds within a sunken walkway on the edge of ancient woodland.

There is also the chance to try authentic Indian curries and kebabs, Asian sweet treats and traditional Indian teas.

Children can get involved with lantern decorating workshops and traditional henna art.
