TICKETS are still available for a talk, and question and answer session, held by the Isle of Wight Council to discuss the St Marys Roundabout works.

The event will be held at Medina Theatre tomorrow (Thursday), at 7pm.

Council leader Cllr Dave Stewart and transport cabinet member Cllr Ian Ward will speak about the project and take questions.

Cllr Ward said: “This is an opportunity for residents to find out more about the St Mary’s scheme and the wider package of junction improvements which, once complete, will make journeys for those travelling in and around Newport much easier with fewer delays.

“Islanders will hear how we are delivering this important project and the measures being taken to minimise the impact of the road works on people’s journeys and local residents.

“A key part of the meeting will be the opportunity for residents to ask us questions about the scheme and we would encourage people to attend.”

Tickets are free but must be booked in advance on the Isle of Wight Council's Website or at the Medina Theatre box office.
