TRAFFIC is held up in Ryde again this morning (Thursday), due to WightFibre works.

Works around Queens Road are for the excavation for the installation of fibreoptic cable and are scheduled to last until November 8.

Southern Vectis has reported delays of up to 20 minutes on their routes 4, 9 and 37.

There is congestion around Queens Road and Argyll Street, with reports of slow-moving and static traffic.
