A PAMPER event is being held to raise awareness of the UK's first National Grief Awareness Week, from December 2.

The Good Grief Trust is hosting an event on December 3 at Quay Arts — a Good Grief Pop Up Christmas Cafe and a well-being event.

Both are to help the bereaved feel a little pampered and looked after at a difficult time in their lives.

The charity is helps anyone anywhere who is grieving, to find their choice of support in their local area.

The campaign also helps people learn how best to support family, friends and colleagues through a bereavement.

Lee Pycroft, celebrity make-up artist, and Charlotte Broadbent, a former Hello magazine beauty and fashion editor, will both talk and give demonstrations.

Liz Earle is also offering demonstrations and author Julie New will sign her new book, Grief Garden.

There are also luxury goody bags to be given away.

Tickets are £20 each, and all proceeds go to the Good Grief Trust.
