THE Wight Brainy Bunch will once again transform Ryde Fire Station into a Winter Wonderland for the third annual Christmas Market in aid of the charity on Saturday, December 7.

The station’s official ‘switch on’ set for 4.15pm.

Featuring an array of seasonal stalls and a packed programme of festive entertainment, the event will include a marching band, choirs and bell ringers, the event promises to add a sprinkling of cheer to the forthcoming festivities.

Fare on the day includes bratwurst barbecue and hog roast, with mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies and far more besides available on Candy Cane Lane.

Children will have access to an inflatable snow globe and the Elf Workshop, where little ones can enjoy a range of craft activities including decorating gingerbread, writing letters to Santa and face painting, as well as the all-important visit to see Father Christmas.

The free to attend event, which includes free parking, is sponsored by Merry and Co Solicitors, Care at Home and RPL Construction.

Kathryn Grimes, co-founder of the Wight Brainy Bunch, said: “We really love this event and work hard to ensure we create a truly magical atmosphere for all our guests. It’s lovely to see so many of them return each year.”
