ARTHOUSE is positively brimming with features this week. From a family film night to a French comedy, fans have the means to overindulge.

Tonight (Friday), Christ Church Family Film Night is showing animated adventure flick, Toy Story 4, at 6.30pm.

When a new toy called Forky joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.

On the same night, Chessell Pottery Cafe is screening its short film night, Adventures in the Natural World, at 7.30pm.

On Sunday, Ventnor Arts Club is screening Kinky Boots The Musical, filmed live at the Adelphi Theatre, at 7pm.

Inspired by true events, this huge-hearted hit tells the story of two people with nothing in common — or so they think.

On Monday, the Ventnor club is hosting a talk from Ventnor Heritage Society's Dr Alan Clark.

Focusing on his experiences as an engineering geologist in Africa, the Middle and Far East and Oceania, Dr Clark will be referring to the projects that took him to those places, the people, and some of their history.

On Tuesday, the Ventnor club is screening drama-mystery, Red Joan, starring Academy Award winner Dame Judi Dench, at 7.30pm.

The film follows the story of Joan Stanley, who was exposed as the KGB's longest-serving British spy.

Wednesday will see the Ventnor club screen Lucien Freud, A Self Portrait — an exhibition on screen, at 7pm.

The exhibition will display more than 50 paintings, prints and drawings from one of the most celebrated painters of our time.

On Thursday, the Ventnor club is showing French comedy, The Shiny Shrimps, at 7.30pm.

Matthias, an Olympic champion at the end of his career, makes a homophobic statement on TV — his punishment: to coach the Shiny Shrimps, a flamboyant and amateur gay water polo team.
