Emergency road closure in Newport due to overhanging tree branch.
AN EMERGENCY road closure has been put in place in Newport today (Tuesday), so work can be carried out on an overhanging tree branch.
Fairlee Road has been closed, from opposite its junction with Halberry Lane to a point 144 metres northeast.
The diversion will affect Staplers Road, Whiterails Road, Station Road, High Street, Lushington Hill, Racecourse, and Fairlee Road.
The closure is only expected to be in place for a short duration.
