RED Jet has cancelled five crossings this morning (Friday) due to a technical fault.

Red Funnel said: "We apologise for any inconvenience to your journey."
UPDATE 8:40am: Red Funnel has now announced that all Red Jet sailings have been suspended until further notice.
Red Funnel tweeted: "Red Jet suspended until further notice due to technical issue.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey"
Update 11:00am: Red Jet will resume service from 10:45 from Southampton and 11:15 from Cowes.
However, Red Funnel will run a one-boat service for the remainder of the day due to a technical issue with Red Jet 6.
UPDATE 1.20: Red Funnel has explained the technical issues that caused multiple cancellations this morning.
A spokesperson for Red Funnel said: "This morning both our active Red Jet vessels suffered separate technical issues, which led to the temporary suspension of our service.
"Whilst Red Jet 4 was available to return to service, Red Jet 6 was occupying the berth at West Cowes, preventing us from sailing.
"This berth is now clear, and we have returned to service on a reduced timetable.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers’ journeys and thank them for their patience.”
