FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a garage fire in Ryde in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Crews from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service had to force entry into the garage on Spencer Road to put out the fire.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called to Spencer Road at 3.37am.
"We sent one crew from Ryde and we used two sets of breathing apparatus.
"The crews left at 6.27am."
