A NUMBER of properties in Newport are without power today (Tuesday).

Supplier SSE has apologised and says its engineers are aware of the problem.

It says it was notified at about 10.48am and says power is expected to be restored by 4pm.

Postcodes affected include PO30 1LS, PO30 1LU, PO30 1LX, PO30 1NA, PO30 1NB, PO30 1ND and PO30 1RN.
