THE number of confirmed cases of coronavirus on the Isle of Wight has increase according to Public Health England.

New figures released today (Tuesday) show the total number of cases of coronavirus on the Isle of Wight has risen to 204 ­— an increase of one.

On Thursday, June 25, a new case had been reported for the first time in ten days, which took the total to 203.

In all, 82 people have died on the Isle of Wight having tested positive for the virus.

Earlier today, it emerged that the Island has been highlighted as a potential Covid-19 hotspot, according to a new online tool from Oxford University’s Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science.
