Newport man Paul Butler will face trial in August
NEWPORT man Paul Butler has been charged with 27 criminal offences.
Mr Butler, 37, of Robin Hood Street, has been charged with offences including numerous thefts in Newport, using counterfeit money, possession of cannabis and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court yesterday (Thursday) and was remanded in custody.
His case was adjourned to the Isle of Wight Crown Court for August 3.
