POLICE arrested two men in their 20s in Ryde on suspicion of affray yesterday evening (Saturday).

The incident took place in St Johns Road following a report of a fight.

A spokesperson for Isle of Wight Police said: "We were called at 5.56pm yesterday evening to a disturbance in St John's Road in Ryde.

"Officers arrested a 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of affray.

"Both have since been released from custody but remain under investigation."
