THE team at the Commodore Cinema in Ryde have reopened their screens to the public, with a number of new Covid-19 safety measures in place.
Those wishing to head to the Star Street venue will be have a small selection of films available to watch.
Social distancing measures, temperature checking and hand sanitiser stations to maintain a safe environment for both visitors and staff.
The cinema will now be open from Friday to Monday, with all movies and show times available to view at www.commodorecinemaryde.com at a general cost of £4 per ticket, with a £2.50 concession for Saturday matinees and on Mondays.
A spokesperson for Commodore Cinema said: "Obviously we really need people to support their local independent cinema otherwise they may lose it — Cineworld isn’t opening yet, and we have put a number of measures in place to ensure the safety and comfort anyone who visits."
