The Diamond Races should be welcomed with sheer delight by the Isle of Wight.
After months of isolation due to coronavirus, we as an Island can only benefit from it.
Diamond Races: What's it all about?
It would benefit hotels, guest houses, campsites, pubs, restaurants, cafes, ferries and even hot dog stalls.
Bob Seely, you should take heed of the Isle of Man where you have to book two years in advance for accommodation during the TT Races.
Being in October, the Diamond Races will not affect our main-season tourists and this will be an additional boost to our tourist trade.
Please support this proposal...we don't want another event kicked out like the motocross was.
