The Isle of Wight can now expect thunderstorms until Monday, say weather experts at the Met Office.

A weather warning for possible torrential rain and flooding has been extended. 

Forecasters say we should be prepared for potential thunder and lightning until Monday, at 9pm.

While parts of the country have already experienced storms, the Island has so far escaped.

Forecasters say where and when they might crop up is uncertain, but storms could be damaging where they occur.
