A woman and children have been rescued from a house fire in Swanmore Road, Ryde this morning (Thursday).
Fire crews from Ryde, Newport and Sandown were called out just before 6:45am.
Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service says a neighbour rescued the three people before they arrived - along with a dog.
They are now in the care of the ambulance service.
Smoke and flames were spotted in a bedroom of the home.
The incident is ongoing and motorists should avoid the Swanmore Road area.

Fire crews have now left the scene.
