An earthquake measuring 3 on the Richter scale has apparently shaken the south coast of England today (Thursday).

It was felt in the English Channel, about 72 km east of Lewes and 34 km south of Camber, at about 9am.

It was recorded around 100 miles away from the Island, but we want to know if you felt it on the Isle of Wight!

Records show it happened about 7km under the English Channel.
