Isle of Wight Literary Festival organisers want Isle of Wight writers to share the aspect of the Island that inspires their work, in a short video.

They will be curated and played at the online event next month (October).

Submissions must be in by Friday (September 18).

Over the centuries many famous scribes have made the Island their base: Alfred Lord Tennyson, Winston Churchill, John Armstrong, Charles Dickens, John Keats, Ivana Popov, Enid Blyton, Anthony Minghella and literary festival vice patron Alan Titchmarsh.

The Isle of Wight Literary Festival, an established event on the UK Arts calendar, is now in its ninth year.

The festival provides a far-reaching eclectic programme designed to attract a wide audience and increase the cultural richness of the Isle of Wight.
