A CAR ended up wedged in a hedgerow in Shalfleet.

The single-vehicle accident happened near London Farm on Porchfield Road and was discovered this morning (Sunday).

One crew from Newport Fire Station attended for scene safety reasons at around 9am.

The road remains open to traffic.
