The Isle of Wight moving into Tier One has meant the green light for a socially- distanced theatrical family-friendly show.

Forest Fables will be at Mottistone Manor from next week.

Each bubbled group is promised a journey of discovery through the enchanted rooms and corridors of the National Trust property.

Be prepared for stories of majestic forests, ancient landscapes and the little creatures who serve them.

The original story and script draws on the beauty of the Manor under the watchful eye of the Neolithic Longstone and the sublime landscape that surrounds it.

A spokesperson for the event said: "The team has used the Covid restrictions as a creative tool to make something unique.

"When would a family ordinarily have the chance to see a show where they are the only audience members?

"The production allows bubbles of up to 6 people to experience the show, one bubble at a time, and performers will be masked and socially distanced."

A digital adventure

A digital version of Forest Fables will be produced in partnership with Greengage Ventures and released on Boxing Day.

The film will be an interpretation of the live experience to allow those unable to leave their homes the chance for some festive family magic.

Tickets?

In line with current government guidelines, you can purchase a bubble for up to six for £65.

One bubble per performance will move through the manor at timed intervals.
