Community Action Isle of Wight is recruiting volunteers to staff an Island Covid-19 vaccination centre.

People who live in Newport, or can easily get to the Riverside Centre, are being asked to step up.

The Riverside Vaccination Centre will be open 7 days a week, from 8am-8pm.

Community Action Isle of Wight wants to hear from Islanders who can spare 4 (or more) hours a week.

The team says it already has a long list of volunteers to work through, so it is urging those who have already applied to be patient.
