The main phone line into St Mary's Hospital, Newport, is currently down.
THE main phone line into the Isle of Wight's hospital is down this morning (Monday, January 25).
This means those phoning to access the switchboard at St Mary's Hospital, Newport, on 01983 822099 are unable to get through.
Sharing the news on social media, the Isle of Wight NHS Trust has apologised for the inconvenience and is asking people to contact the ward or department directly if they are able.
The Trust say the issue is being investigated and it is hoped it will be resolved as soon as possible.
UPDATE, 12:45pm: The Isle of Wight NHS Trust has said the phone line is now working again and calls should be able to go through.
