Police seal off River Medina at Newport Lidl
Isle of Wight police have sealed off an area of Newport - where the River Medina runs past Lidl.
The Isle of Wight County Press has been told a body has been found.
Specialist teams are on the scene and an area around Lukely Brook has been taped off.
An Isle of Wight fire crew from Newport is also also on scene.
Coastguards are also part of the mutli-agency response.
Police say the death is being treated as 'unexplained'.
