Two environmental activists from the Isle of Wight have been speaking to women in Newport, to mark International Women's Day.
Dressed as suffragists, they used a socially-distanced walk around the town to call for more women to step into the world of politics.
Julie Hutchison told the County Press: "Lots of people wanted to talk to us.
"They read our banners and agreed more women should be standing as councillors in their communities.
"People were warm and friendly, and very interested."
Julie has launched a website, as part of her bid to encourage women to become political leaders.
