At a time when the conservation of our planet is a major issue, it’s disgraceful that a developer is planning to desecrate the area of woodland known as Love Lane Copse, which for years has been the undisturbed natural habitat of wildlife.

Love Lane, which is the proposed access to two holiday lodges, is totally unsuitable being too narrow and impossible for two vehicles to pass, manoeuvre or turn.

The lane is regularly used by children, dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists, also it is safe for the disabled with their motorised scooters and is the one remaining place which is virtually traffic free.

Love Lane could become extremely dangerous, with an increase of traffic particularly large or wide vehicles.

I hope the IW Council will consider my objections before granting permission to destroy this peaceful and quiet area enjoyed by so many residents and visitors to the village.
