MOUNTBATTEN will welcome back popular folk-rock band, Lucid, at the latest edition of the charity’s concert series next month.

The locally renowned four-piece will bring their stunning vocals and rich melodies to the hospice at Halberry Lane on Thursday, November 4.

Concertgoers will enjoy songs reflecting the diverse musical influences of pianist Blue Brown, guitarist Sunny Brown, bass player Ollie Ducie, and violin player Nik Potts.

“We are really pleased to be returning to Mountbatten,” said Ollie.

“We are excited to bring our usual mix of originals and classy covers.

“Mountbatten is a cause we have supported for a long time, and to be part of their concert series again means a lot to all of us.”

Nigel Hartley, Mountbatten’s chief executive, said: “Our concert series has grown in popularity, and it is so good to welcome our community back to Mountbatten to enjoy these special events.

"Lucid are such a great local talent — it is sure to be a wonderful evening.”

Tickets, at £10 per person, must be bought in advance at mountbatten.org.uk/Event/an-evening-with-lucid
