Road closure in Ryde.
AN EMERGENCY road closure has been put in place in Ryde this morning (Monday).
Carters Road has been closed, from its junction with Ashey Road to its junction with Upton Road.
Island Roads says the closure is necessary for BT to carry out emergency repairs.
The diversion will affect Upton Road and Ashey Road.
