A HAVENSTREET man who claims police pepper spray squirted into his mouth prevented him from complying with officers' drink-drive breath tests, will stand trial on the Isle of Wight.
Desmond Musgrove, 42, of Church Road, denied failing to provide a breath alcohol specimen for analysis, in Havenstreet and at Newport Police Station, on May 9, when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The 42-year-old was bailed to reappear for trial at the same venue on August 8.
