A SWIMMING group turned into models for a local shop on the Isle of Wight.
The Seaview Salties had great fun trying out the Bridie and Bert swimwear, made from re-cycled Lycra, and towelling beach robes.
In exchange for swimsuits all round, Bridie and Bert owner Mitty asked the Seaview Salties if they might like to be filmed and photographed splashing about in the water and feature on her Instagram page.
Not only was the idea to promote the swimwear line, but to encourage women of all ages and sizes to wear swimsuits and bikinis with pride and confidence.
Mitty said the turnout was better than she could have hoped for and a fun time was had by all, with fantastic footage as a result.
The swimmers were delighted with their new swimsuits.
The Seaview Salties was formed during lockdown by a group of women who met on the beach. Long lasting friendships were formed and the women have continued to swim throughout the year, ever since.
A chance meeting on the beach between Mitty and the group led to the promotional opportunity, to advertise the nostalgic brand.
Mitty has opened a pop-up shop on Seaview High Street with her friend Annabel from At Last.
