Opulence the theme at Isle of Wight school's Year 11 prom

The event, organised by the Head of Year 11, Mrs Rudd, was styled in an opulence theme.

Staff and students enjoyed the sunshine with garden games on the lawn and a sophisticated buffet-style meal.

This was followed by speeches, awards and a disco hosted by the academy’s resident DJ, Mr Wiltshire. Students also voted for their prom king and prom queen.

Mr Adam Brown, assistant principal, said: “Everyone at Cowes Enterprise College is extremely proud of our Year 11 students, and we all wish them a well-deserved summer break.

"We can’t wait to welcome many of them back into the CEC Sixth Form in September.”
