There are warnings about discoloured water and low pressure after another Isle of Wight water main burst - this time near Whippingham.

Temporary lights are in place, on the road between the turning for Alverstone/East Cowes Road and the village, after some flooding was caused by the burst main last night (Tuesday).

Southern Water has apologised for the inconvenience and says any changes to the water supply are temporary.

Southern Vectis is warning of possible delays to bus routes 4 and 5.

Meanwhile, work was also underway yesterday to fix a burst main in Nettlestone and there is also a closure on Brading High Street for repairs - leading to long diversions for motorists.
