Ventnor's children's carnival will weave through the streets later, before the main evening procession.
The children’s procession meets from 11.30am, in Dudley Road.
At 12pm, it will get underway, taking in a route via Pier Street, High Street, Madeira Road, St Catherine’s Street, Victoria Street, Albert Street, Pier Street, Church Street, Alpine Road and Park Avenue.
Later, the town's main carnival will follow the same route, starting at Dudley Road and Albert Street, from 7pm.
Entries can be accepted on the day and you can also expect to see fireworks.
