Police and ambulance crews were called to the Isle of Wight town's High Street.
A man suffered a minor injury in Sandown earlier - leading to the closure of the High Street, for a time.
Police officers from Hampshire Constabulary were called to the coastal town by the Isle of Wight ambulance service, at around 9.10am.
The emergency teams were concerned for the welfare of a man.
The matter was dealt with and the road has since reopened.
