CUSTOMERS buying petrol and diesel at Asda in Newport will no longer be able to pay by cash.

The supermarket has closed its kiosk, which means drivers can only pay at the machine, by card payment.

The change came into force on Saturday.

Notices have been put on all the pumps.

The superstore and its petrol station opened in August 2017.
