FOLLOWING the success of last year’s pantomime Cinderella, Made to Measure Productions will return to Newport’s Medina Theatre this Christmas with Jack and the Beanstalk.
Audiences enjoyed the theatre company’s pantomime last Christmas, and this year’s promises to be ‘bigger, brighter and even funnier than before!’.
A spokesperson said: “Jack and the Beanstalk will boast stunning scenery, colourful costumes, toe-tapping tunes, incredible illusions and laughter by the bucketful.
“You really won’t want to miss this traditional, yet innovative, hilarious family pantomime!”
Lee Redwood, from producers Made to Measure Productions, said: “We were delighted to take on the production of pantomimes at the Medina Theatre last year, and our cast absolutely adored working in such a wonderful venue!
“Despite Covid restrictions last Christmas, feedback for our production of Cinderella was outstanding, and we really are excited to be back in Newport with Jack and the Beanstalk this December.
“It’s full of fe-fi-fo-FUN, so get your tickets early – especially for our ‘Grown-Ups Only’ nights, as they’re sure to sell out quickly!”
Jack and the Beanstalk runs from December 20 – 30, and tickets are available online from the Medina Theatre website or by calling the box office on 01983 823 884.
There will also be ‘grown-ups only’ performances on December 23 and 27, which will be full of innuendo, comedy routines, parodies of well-known songs, audience participation and ‘cheeky, saucy and naughty’ humour.
