ONE person was hurt in a two-car crash in Whippingham yesterday evening (Wednesday, November 9).
The collision happened on Whippingham Road, not far from the Racecourse Roundabout near Alverstone Road.
Ambulance and police teams were called at 5.48pm and were quickly at the scene.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that one person suffered minor injuries in the collision.
The County Press was told by an eyewitness that the collision involved an Audi and a Toyota.
The road remained open, and traffic moved slowly in and out of East Cowes, with police directing traffic around the crash.
