A TALENTED young local athlete who has secured his place on the team to represent Team Isle of Wight at the Island Games in Guernsey this summer needs your help to get him there.
Noah Patey, a member of the Isle of Wight Athletic Club, will be taking part in the 3,000m steeplechase.
The 18-year-old has been a member of the club, with his twin brother Jacob since they were in primary school, competing in numerous parkruns, Wessex League and cross-country events — favouring long distance running.
Noah has shown dedication throughout his years at the club, recently concentrating on steeplechase, in which he has gained Hampshire champion and schools champion honours.
Noah’s parents, Vida and Sam, are looking for any financial assistance to help him make the Island Games.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for any donations.
He needs at least £700 minimum.
