There are hour-long delays on an Isle of Wight ferry route this morning (Monday), due to to problems with a loading ramp.

The Portsmouth to Fishbourne car ferry is running up to 60 minutes behind schedule.
Wightlink has apologised and says it is working to try to reduce the delay.
The cross-Solent operator is advising passengers to continue to check in on time.
Sorry, due to a technical issue with our loading ramp, customers may be delayed by up to 60 minutes today, 17 April on our Portsmouth-Fishbourne car ferry service.

The ferry delays have now been reduced to 15 minutes.
