A Ford Transit has been seized by police at an Isle of Wight supermarket after multiple alleged offences were identified this afternoon (Monday, April 24).
Officers seized a yellow Ford Transit Connected in the carpark of Asda on St George's Way in Newport at around 12.20pm.
The Road Policing Unit discovered the vehicle has had no insurance since the beginning of the year, and that the driver did not have any road tax.
Further checks found that the van had two deflated front tyres, which were below the legal limit.
The vehicle was taken to the compound until appropriate paperwork is completed and in place.
